Providing his brother with his intended route in Ireland so his brother can direct letters to him; describing his travels in Ireland: "everywhere I get beautifully along; have nothing to complain of, except that the people are too assiduous about me, and that I cannot well manage to secure enough of sleep"; giving his impressions of Cork; sending greetings to his mother and asking his family to forward the letter to his sister Jean.
